Hi everyone,
I got to have a nap this morning from 6- 9. It is amazing how 3 hours of sleep can feel like 8 or 9 after being up for 24 ;-)
Puppies made it through their first 24 hours. Weight loss has not been too bad and I am encouraged.
Here are the weights:
Blue Boy: birth wt 320 gms today's weight at 1030 is 310 gm
Yellow Boy: 378 gms 360 gm
Burgundy Boy: 408 gms 390 gm
Buff Boy: 320 gms 310 gm
Blue&Pink Girl: 380 gms 370 gm
Burgundy Girl: 410 gms 386 gm
Blue Girl: 320 gms 310 gm
Buff Girl: 350 gms 350 gm
White Girl: 396 gms 380 gm
Yellow Girl: 328 gms 315 gm
I know, I will have to get some better ribbon colours...
Feeding schedule has now been stretched to 1.5 hours and the pups are tolerating it well. I am hoping to be up to 2 hours for the night so I can get some sleep. I'm off to work tomorrow and Tony will be taking the lead on feeding while I am away.
As expected we have had lots of visitors today ;-)
Kianna and Mataya were there to play with Bobi when she was as big as Bobi's puppies are now. How much fun can this be????
Bobi is so cool with the kids playing with her puppies
Devon comes back for another visit and can't believe his eyes.... so many more puppies to play with, Yeah!!!!
Where are the puppy's toes???? Right here of course ;-)
Bobi really doesn't mind showing off her new kids
You know your tired when......... eyes half closed, lying down and drinking (and no one spiked it!)
A quick reminder for all of you that are getting one of these cuties, it is an 'A' litter. Triple 'A' in fact since this litter marks the beginning of our third journey using letter designations of the alphabet to track our litters. How creative can you be?
