I learned something new today!!!!

After 46 litters of our own and many assisted deliveries for friends, I got to learn a new whelping lesson... I learned that it is possible to predict puppy maturity by their heart rates in-utero... Yes, in utero! Heart rates start to slow as they near their delivery time. Who knew????
Bobi's puppy heart rates were 170 - 200 beats per minute on ultra sound today. More ideally they should be closer to the 140-150 beats per minute. So, tomorrow at 1 pm we will once again journey to the vet's and he tells me that we will do the section.
